Serenity Now!

Thursday, June 22nd, 2006

When I’m not obsessing over the design of our PS3 project, I’ve been catching up on my DVD watching. This past week I’ve watched through the entire DVD set of Firefly and topped my viewing off with its movie sequel, Serenity. The show is an interesting fusion of sci-fi and western genres. Joss Wheden (the creator of the show) has crafted an eclectic collection of characters. The show had a somewhat lighthearted adventure tone to it and yet it was able to become dark and serious when needed and that always prevented the show from diving into campy or cheesy territory. I highly recommend it.

Naughty Dog Untitled

So, the game I’m working on was shown at E3 to warm responses from the fellow gamers. There is an interview with bossman, Evan Wells, on IGN describing some of the details of the game. I can’t wait to be able to talk more about it.
